Estatic Dance Sacred Cacao and Sweatlodge

13. - 14. November, Dating all the way back to the Mayans and the Aztecs of Southern Mexico and Quatamala, cacao has been used during ceremonies and rituals as a medicine for healing for thousands of years.

This sacred cacao drink is packed with vitamins and minerals that are great for your physical and mental health. Releasing dopamine and endorphins in the body to sooth feelings of stress and boost your mood. Cacao has the ability to open your heart, to let you experience a deeper connection to yourself and others around you, increase the flow of inspiration and creativity and can provide more mental clarity and inner peace.

Taking our cacao experience to the dancefloor where we will continue our journey into Ecstatic Dance. A form of dance that has been practiced for centuries by different tribes and traditions to achieve a higher state of consciousness. A free form, unstructured dance space where you can allow your body to move freely to the music without any boundaries or judgements. Expressing that what is present inside of us and leaving it all out on the dancefloor.

Followed on sunday by Praying our Freedom in Bliss Sweatlodge ceremony guided by Michaela
The sweatlodge ceremony is an ancient old purification ritual within many indiginous cultures. The most well known is maybe the ones from the North American Indians.
The sweatlodge tradition that i share is based on the Chippewa-Cree tradition, been passed on to me by the Native Elder Ron Evans, and has been experienced as a warm blanket.

Feel embraced in the sweatlodge.....
Sacred space
Time for healing, prayer, blessings, songs, giving thanks, be silent
Where the stones are our Grandfather and the Water Grandmother
They who come together in their sacred love making
To embrace us in the healing steam
The smell of for ever green
